Branch is currently only available for sign-up through the company you work for, but you can keep your Branch account as a consumer if you leave your job. Through our partnership with employers and other workplaces, Branch can offer faster payouts and ensure a smoother, more consistent experience without disruption.

We built Branch to align with the interests of our users — and offer free options to both companies and their workers. For any debit or credit card transaction, merchants pay a small fee (interchange fee) to process card payments. When workers use their Branch Card to make a purchase, Branch receives a part of that merchant interchange fee.

Everytime a customer uses a credit or debit card to make a purchase, the merchant pays a small fee (called interchange) to the card-issuing bank. So when workers spend using a Branch debit card, a portion of that interchange fee is shared with Branch.

Branch is always looking to grow our partner network. We partner with a broad range of companies in a variety of ways, from Strategic Partnerships that are looking to embed Branch and leverage our open APIs and no code/low code widgets, to Referral Partners interested in recommending Branch to clients and companies.
